3 Easy Ways to Clean Your Vape Tank

As the saying goes, a clean vape is a happy vape!

If you want to get the best out of your vape tank and coils , you should endeavor to clean them once in a while. Ideally, if you notice that your coil is producing a burnt taste, then, it is necessary that you clean it.

In this post, we discuss the various ways to clean your vaping tools to ensure optimal performance.

The Standard Rinse With Water
You don’t need your vape tank to be overly dirty before you clean it. So if your tank isn’t too stained, a standard rinse using warm water will do the work. To do this, separate the different parts of the tank and rinse each part under running water. Then dry the parts with a towel and allow to air dry until there is no water or visible condensation.

If you haven’t cleaned the tank for some time, you should soak the disassembled parts in a bowl of lukewarm water after rinsing them for the first time. Then leave the parts in the water until it (the water) cools down. Then take out the parts and rinse under running water once more before leaving them to dry.

Cleaning With Propylene Glycol
If you don’t want to clean your vape tank with water, propylene glycol is an excellent alternative . All you have to do is to disassemble the parts and soak them in a cup of propylene glycol. Remove the parts after an hour or two, keep on top of a napkin, and allow to drip dry.

This method is well known for bringing out the leftover flavor in tanks because
Do not use VG because they are much thicker and will make the cleaning process even more difficult PG is an excellent flavor carrier.

Using Household Cleaning Agents
Want a more thorough cleaning? use some household cleaning agents to give your tool a deeper cleaning.
Some many vapers use ethanol also known as grain alcohol for cleaning their vape tanks and this substance is a very effective vape cleaning agent. But be careful not to use Isopropyl alcohol because they are not suitable for rinsing the inner parts of a vape tank.

Baking soda and vinegar are also highly effective cleaning agents and can be used for cleaning vape tanks. However, if you are using vinegar, be sure to rinse your vape tank properly to get rid of the smell.

Using Ultrasonic Cleaner
Ultrasonic cleaners are typically used for cleaning jewelry and precious metals but they are also used for cleaning “precious atomizers.”

The good news is, you can either use a regular ultrasonic cleaner for this purpose or buy one specifically made for cleaning vape tanks. Whichever you use, you will get a thorough cleaning of your vape tank.

If you have ever used an ultrasonic cleaner for jewelry or precious metal, then, you already know how to use one and it is still the same process for cleaning vape tanks.

Otherwise, just fill the ultrasonic cleaner with water and run it until the different parts of your vape tank are thoroughly cleaned. Then rinse and allow to dry.
